The Accommodations:

Understanding and respecting our guest’s needs to relax with full privacy, the lodge has six ample and very comfortable double rooms with private bathrooms. All these areas have a view to the Futaleufú River and Los Alerces National Park. Challhuaquen also offers large and well equipped areas, like the lobby bar, an ideal setting to rest and share with other guests and friends while tying-up flies soothed by a good drink.

Additionally, and always considering our guests’ eventual wishes of combining sports with rest, Challhuaquen Lodge offers a SPA with sauna, hydro massage, jacuzzi and personal massage services. All of them with the benefit of an awesome view to the river, to the Park and the mountains, which becomes an irresistible temptation for late afternoons.

The Fishing:

The fishing area known as Comarca de Los Alerces is internationally known as one of the most important Salmonidal fishing places in the world. Here You can find a big number of original glacial lakes and hundreds of rivers and streams, with a variety and quality of trout’s that have been introduced in this country 100 years ago.

The Rivers:

Futaleufú, Rivadavia, Carrileufu, Arrayanes, Frey, Nant y Fall, Corintos, Corcovado and Pico. Lakes: Menendez, Verde, Futalaufquen, Krugger and Vinter. Lagoons: Willmanco, Baguilt, Desaguaredo, Larga and La Zeta. Others: the famous spring creek Arroyo Pescado These are some of the places for fishing that this area offers. Challhuaquen is located in a privileged setting, not only because the north coast of Futaleufú river is considered one of the biggest fishing places in Patagonia, but also because you can cover all these different places in no more than 80 km.
