Nomads Wildlife Adventure program is an invitation to get to know deep Patagonia alongside first class scientists and expert guides. They travel with guests deep into Patagonian territory to uncover the mysteries of the region’s wildlife, as well as going on specialized expeditions like trekking, kayaking, panoramic flights over the area, among others.

The Mother Ship

The Chilean Patagonia experience that we are proud to offer would not be possible if Nomads did not fulfill our mission and provide a flawless tour, we needed something that would make Nomads unique. And our Mother Ship, called Atmosphere, helped us achieve this goal. Only on this cruise ship we can transport our guests in comfort and consistency.

The Atmosphere has a steel hull, twin engines and twin propellers with variable pitch to be able to maneuver easily no matter the current or sea conditions. It also provides the ability to deploy the jet boats and/or our Bell 407 helicopter.

Our Mother Ship is reliable and possess unique characteristics that provide comfort to our guests. Among them we must point out our spectacular cabins and a Spa service that pampers the guests like no other. Like if this wasn't enough, the Atmosphere has developed a Chilean Cuisine menu that includes typical dishes in a modern and fresh way.

Chilean Cuisine & Wines

Our Chilean gourmet nouvelle cuisine has been specially designed to complement meal services and entertainment during your vacation. Typical dishes of the area recreated in a modern and fresh format to add to the excitement and sense of discovery will be created by Guillermo Rodriguez, one of the most famous Chefs in the country and President of The Toques Blanches, leading culinary association in Chile.

The Mothership also counts with a fully equipped bar, stuffed with the best brands from all kinds of liquor. The bar is open during the whole day and the drinks are for free. However, not every kind of liquor is included in the package. So be sure to check beforehand, as those which aren't included will be charged separately.

There are different kinds of trout and salmons, with diverse characteristics that are a tough challenge for the fly fishing lovers out there. All of this in a region with the best fishing conditions of the entire world.

Whale Watching - Nothing can compare to the majesty of these fascinating mammals, living in one of their most diverse environments: 50% of all known cetacean species call Patagonia their home.

Bird Watching - Skillful and trained guides, highly knowledgeable in local bird population and armed with the latest technology available, spearhead our exclusive, distinctive ornithological activities. The beauty and pristine nature of Patagonian fiords and channels, dressed in exuberant evergreen temperate rainforests, is generous to provide accessible and rewarding observation of a diverse native avifauna.

Nature Photography - We offer an interesting and varied schedule that includes thematic outings to explore, for example, landscape or nature photography. These may involve water or land transportation and aim to reach the most breathtakingly beautiful scenery. Other objectives to focus on are cetaceans and sea mammals in general, endemic birds, patrimonial photography and macro-photography.

Our Team

Our guests will be permanently assisted by our specialized expedition team and guides during the program and related activities. Our human team onboard has many and successful years of experience within the area and related activities, which include fly-fishing, ecotourism and environmental interpretation guides and deep and intimate knowledge of our operation.

Exploratory missions to remote and virgin territories, whether by helicopter, jet boats, ribs, Zodiacs or simply by foot, require exceptional awareness of the terrain and general conditions, and above all, a professional guiding service. Our guides’ expertise and commitment to safe and quality services is their career core. A daily assessment - through data collection, experience and observation - will be thoroughly analyzed by our guides and entire team before every daily departure.
