Mary O'Connell and her family would like you to experience real Irish hospitality whilst staying at their country home and self catering holiday homes. Knockanore Farm and self catering holiday homes enjoy an enviable setting on a working dairy farm in the Valley of the River Nore.
At Knockanore you can walk along the road and see nature at its best; perhaps a fox or pheasant from your bedroom window running through the field and in the evening wonder at all the crows as they return to their rookery in nearby Mount Juliet. Knockanore should prove to be an ideal base for touring the South East of Ireland. We are located 1 hour from Rosslare harbour.
The Fishing:
Take a stroll down the country lane, cross through our pasture land, and down to the River Nore, which passes through our property. Here you will have a quarter mile stretch of the river to yourself.
Try your luck and skill at the native brown trout who reside in these waters.
The Accommodations:
Self Catering Accommodation
Two newly constructed adjoining holiday homes just a few yards from the main house. No expense has been spared in the constructions, fixtures and decoration of these homes. The two storey-house has two bedrooms, 1 double, ensuite, and 1 twin room, ensuite, living/kitchen combined. The single storey also has two bedrooms, 1 double, ensuite and 1 twin. This home is wheelchair friendly and has been designed throughout with this in mind.
