The Bear Trail Lodge is located one mile from King Salmon, Alaska located on the banks of the Naknek River and King Salmon Creek offering front yard access to great fishing. The Fishing
We will be fishing for fresh salmon and huge Rainbows. The lodge is just minutes away from the Katmai National Park. Included in the price is 5 nights lodging – 5 days of fishing which includes 4 days of guided fishing and one fly-out to the famous Brooks River, use of boats and motors, gourmet meals and airport transfers. Not included is airfare, first night lodging & meals, licenses and gratuities.
The Lodge
BEAR TRAIL LODGE cabins and suites are truly luxurious. Each cabin and suite is completely self contained with fully equipped kitchens, bathrooms, private bedrooms, living rooms and television. Fisherman, families and couples alike love our river front cabins. In the BEAR TRAIL LODGE every meal is a special social event. The beautiful dining room with its awesome view awaits you with carefully prepared full course breakfasts and dinners, with picnic lunch to enjoy on the river or with shore lunch and fresh fish a possibility.
The Rivers
The Bristol Bay Watershed is truly a spectacular fishing adventure. Bear Trail Lodge, being centrally located, affords easy access to all the areas lakes, rivers, and streams. There are more river and stream options during each week than there is time for the angler with a float plane at his disposal.
Bear Trail Lodge has jet-boats stashed on many remote fly-out streams and rivers. We cater to both fly fisherman and spin-cast alike. Fishing includes all 5 species of salmon including kings, silvers, sockeye, chum, and pinks. There is also plenty of giant trophy rainbow trout along with arctic char, grayling, and northern pike, lake trout and dolly varden.
