This modern day log cabin sits on the banks of the upper Sacramento River, and it's centrally located for blue ribbon fly fishing, hiking, sight seeing, and other fun outdoor activities. Great fly fishing is just off your back deck.
Barbeque on the back deck which overlooks the river. Get back to nature as you sit and enjoy the scenery and the gentle sounds of the great outdoors. The fishing/swimming hole is just 50 feet away. Take a leisurely walk into the friendly town of Dunsmuir to shop and dine in one of the many restaurants and shops. Dunsmuir is a historic railroad town built along the Sacramento River which is ranked a "Blue Ribbon" fly fishing river. The area offers something for everyone. Lake Shasta and Lake Shastina are close by for fishing, boating, swimming and water skiing. Hikers and climbers will enjoy the trails and cliffs along Castle Crags and Mount Shasta. Skiing and snowboarding are also terrific on Mount Shasta. No traffic problems here!
