200 days out of the year you’ll find Capt. Piconi leading anglers to corbina, halibut, yellowfin, bass, bonefish, barracuda, bonito, yellowtail, white sea bass, & dorado. The Fishing:

MISSION/SAN DIEGO BAY

Cruise in our 17’ flats boat to explore this diverse, light tackle fishery. We will be chasing a myriad of species that includes bass, barracuda, bonito, bonefish, mackerel, croaker, & halibut. A great way to get started in the salt or tune up existing skills.

Cost:$350 per 1/2 day, $400 per 3/4 day, 1 or 2 anglers, extra angler $50

LOCAL SURF

Discover southern California’s most accessible resource! Miles of sandy coastline offer unique fishing opportunities on foot for corbina, halibut, & surf perch. Grab your favorite 6-weight ford and patrol the beach with one of our local guides. Tackle available upon request.

Cost:$200 half day, 1 or 2 anglers, extra angler $50

INSHORE/KELP BEDS

Tangle with the denizens of California’s kelp forest or hunt the blue water for fast moving pelagic. Cast to calico bass, barracuda, bonito, yellowtail, or white sea bass from our comfortable 20’ Jones Brothers. A great intro to local blue water fishing!

Cost: $450 half day/ $550 full day, 1 or 2 anglers, extra angler $50

SAN DIEGO OVERNIGHT TRIPS

Join us for yellowtail season, when tuna are heading north from Mexican waters. This very popular fly-fishing low load charter runs out of Fisherman’s Landing. Call for more details & a run down on equipment and flies. Rod rentals available upon request.
