It really is a thrill to cast to tailing and cruising Redfish in Louisiana's scenic bayous. The word bayou originated from the term bayuk, the Louisiana French word for "small stream" By definition, a bayou is a watercourse, usually the offshoot of a river or lake in a lowland area. It is a sluggish or stagnant creek, frequently flowing through swamp terrain. The term is used mainly when referring to areas in the delta region (the area near the mouth) of the Mississippi River. A fly fishing day with Capt Rich will also be a great eco tour of the great bayou areas of Louisiana.
When in Baton Rouge – New Orleans area on business or pleasure give Capt Rich a call. It will be a fly fishing day you will not forget. In addition to Redfish you can chase Speckle Trout, Flounder, Sheephead, Blackdrum, Jacks and many more.
